18 Jestha, Kathmandu – The task force formed to prepare the discussion paper on constitution amendment has received 44,613 suggestions from citizens regarding constitutional changes. On Jestha 8, the secretariat of the task force issued a notice inviting written feedback from interested Nepali citizens on necessary improvements and amendments to the constitution. According to the notice, citizens submitted their suggestions in writing. Lalidhar Subedi, Member Secretary of the task force, informed that 19,239 suggestions were received via email and 25,374 through the social media platform WhatsApp. The task force called for written suggestions to ensure the participation of all Nepali citizens in the constitution amendment process.
