Reappointment of SSPs in Kathmandu and Lalitpur Announced by Ministry of Home Affairs

The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the transfer of 33 Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) officers, including those from Kathmandu and Lalitpur. SSP Ramesh Thapa of Kathmandu has been transferred to the Madhesh Province Police Office and assigned duties at the Police Headquarters’ Directorate of Investigation Planning. Similarly, SSP Hobindra Bogati from Lalitpur has been reassigned to the Nepal Police Headquarters’ Highway Safety and Traffic Management Division in Naxal. This decision was communicated on Monday evening by the Human Resource Development Department of Nepal Police Headquarters. SSP Thapa has been moved from Kathmandu to the Peace and Security Division of Madhesh Province Police Office in Janakpur, Dhanusha, while his official duty post will remain at the Directorate of Investigation Planning and Development at Police Headquarters.
