Electric Shock Claims Life of One in Rolpa

In Syangkhola, Ward No. 4 of Madi Rural Municipality in Rolpa, 39-year-old Hari Bahadur Gharti Magar died due to electric shock while fishing. Locals discovered his body near the riverbank and informed the police. The authorities have sent the deceased for a postmortem examination at Rolpa Hospital in Reugha. (19 Jestha, Rolpa)

On Monday afternoon at around 4 pm in Syangkhola, Tarkebang, Ward No. 4 of Madi Rural Municipality, a man died from electric shock. The victim, 39-year-old Hari Bahadur Gharti Magar, a resident of Ghartigaun-2, Madi Rural Municipality, was found unconscious near the riverbank by locals who were herding goats. They reported the incident to a vehicle driver nearby. Upon arriving at the scene, police confirmed that Gharti Magar had already passed away. The body has been dispatched to Rolpa Hospital in Reugha for postmortem, according to Sunil Thapa Nepali, Deputy Inspector and Information Officer of the District Police Office, Rolpa.
