
May 20, Kathmandu – A missile attack by Iran has claimed the life of one person at Kuwait International Airport, according to reports. On Tuesday, Iran launched drone and missile strikes targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, as noted by various international media outlets. The attack caused extensive damage to a terminal at Kuwait International Airport.
Kuwaiti officials confirmed one fatality and dozens of injuries resulting from the assault. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps described the attack as a “lesson” for the United States. Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command reported conducting retaliatory strikes against Iran’s Queshm Island to defend itself, successfully neutralizing several Iranian missiles and drones.
Amid these developments, U.S. President Donald Trump denied reports that talks to prevent war with Iran had stalled. He asserted that continuous dialogue between the two nations is ongoing.
