Exchange Rates Rise Today for US, Australian, Canadian, and Singapore Dollars

May 20, Kathmandu – According to the foreign currency exchange rates set by Nepal Rastra Bank, the value of the US dollar, euro, and British pound has increased today. Similarly, the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, and Japanese yen have also strengthened.

Today, the buying rate for the US dollar stands at NPR 152.84 and the selling rate at NPR 153.44. Yesterday, the US dollar buying rate was NPR 152.13 and the selling rate NPR 152.73.

The euro’s buying rate today is NPR 177.58 with a selling rate of NPR 178.28, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 177.19 (buying) and NPR 177.88 (selling). The British pound sterling buys at NPR 205.62 and sells at NPR 206.43 today, while yesterday’s rates were NPR 204.90 (buying) and NPR 205.70 (selling). The Swiss franc’s buying rate is NPR 193.75 and selling rate NPR 194.51.

The Australian dollar’s buying rate today is NPR 109.58 and selling rate NPR 110.01, up from yesterday’s NPR 109.26 (buying) and NPR 109.69 (selling). The Canadian dollar is now bought at NPR 110.33 and sold at NPR 110.76, compared to yesterday’s NPR 109.83 (buying) and NPR 110.26 (selling). The Singapore dollar’s buying rate is NPR 119.25, selling at NPR 119.72, up from yesterday’s NPR 118.98 (buying) and NPR 119.45 (selling). The Japanese yen (per 10 units) is bought at NPR 9.56 and sold at NPR 9.60 today, slightly higher than yesterday’s NPR 9.52 (buying) and NPR 9.56 (selling).
