May 21, Jhapa – A man died while fishing using electric current in the Arjundhara area of Jhapa on Thursday afternoon. The police confirmed that the deceased was 44-year-old Sagar from Arjundhara Municipality-11. According to Police Inspector Suman Baniya of the District Police Office, he was fishing by applying electric current in the Hile River near the local Kalimandir when he was electrocuted and lost consciousness. Locals informed the police about the incident, and when officers arrived at the scene, he was already deceased. –RASAS
