Nepal Army secured the championship title at the Girija Prasad Koirala National Women’s Hockey Five Tournament on Saturday. Gandaki Province finished second, while Madhesh Province took third place. (23 Jestha, Kathmandu)
The tournament was organized by the Girija Prasad Koirala Sports Academy, with the top three teams receiving cash prizes of NPR 50,000, 30,000, and 15,000 respectively. Savina KC from the Army team was named the best player, while Lakshminiya Das from Madhesh Province was honored as the emerging player.
