Oman All Out for 94, Nepal Sets Simple Target in Semifinal of Asian Games Cricket Qualifier

In the ongoing Asian Games men’s cricket qualifier in Singapore, Oman has set a modest target of 95 runs for Nepal in the semifinal. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Oman was bowled out for 94 runs in 19.4 overs. Captain Sufia Mehmud top-scored for Oman with 38 runs, while Zuber Ali Akbar contributed 22 runs. For Nepal, Karan KC took 3 wickets, with Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane claiming 2 wickets each. Shahab Alam, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Kushal Malla took one wicket apiece.

If Nepal wins the semifinal, they will face the winner of the match between Hong Kong and Malaysia in the final. Alongside Nepal, the four teams that have reached the semifinals have already qualified for the Asian Games.
