RSP co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal and leader Barsaman Pun Anant will attend the meeting on behalf of the party. Prachanda was hospitalized a few days ago due to pneumonia and has since been under treatment. According to Prachanda’s secretariat, as he still remains weak, he has decided to skip the meeting. He has entrusted leaders Madhav Nepal and Barsaman Pun to articulate his party’s stance during the discussions.

Returning from an India visit, RSP chairman Ravi Lamichhane has scheduled the multi-party meeting for 9 AM today in the Public Accounts Committee hall at Singha Durbar. According to RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the meeting has been called to discuss current political issues. Party presidents or chairs, along with two representatives from political parties represented in the House of Representatives and National Assembly, have been invited to participate.
