
The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has planned to collect suggestions regionally from 13 June to 3 July as part of its party reorganization efforts. The schedule has been prepared by a task force led by Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa. Central members from respective areas, as well as provincial and district office bearers, will participate in this program.
Kathmandu, 8 June — The UML will gather suggestions for reorganization on a provincial basis. A meeting of the task force, formed under the leadership of Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa, was held today. The meeting finalized the schedule for regional suggestion collection. According to General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, the plan is to hold sessions in Bagmati province on 13 June, Koshi on 16 June, Lumbini on 18 June, Sudurpashchim on 20 June, Karnali on 22 June, Madhesh on 27 June, and the Capital Province on 30 June. Following these, coordination contacts will be gathered on 1 July, organization representatives on 2 July, and department heads and office bearers on 3 July. Central members, provincial officials, and district leaders from the respective geographical areas will participate in these suggestion collection meetings. General Secretary Pokharel will serve as the member secretary overseeing the suggestion gathering process.
