27 Jestha, Kathmandu – In the ACC Women’s Premier Cup quarterfinal underway in Malaysia, Thailand has set Nepal a target of 131 runs. Winning the toss and opting to bat first at the Bayumas Oval, Thailand scored 130 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Nanapat Koncharoenkai played a crucial unbeaten half-century, scoring 63 runs off 51 balls. Funita Mai contributed 26 runs while Chanida Sutthirang added 16 runs to the total. For Nepal, Kavita Kunwar, Riya Sharma, and Rubina Khatri each took one wicket. Nepal must win this match to qualify for the Asia Cup.
