Prime Minister’s Office Orders Investigation into Kavre Bus Accident

May 12, Kathmandu – The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has expressed deep condolences over the bus accident in Kavre. On Friday evening, Hemraj Acharya, Spokesperson and Joint Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, stated in a press release that the concerned authorities have been directed to determine the cause of the incident.

“Immediately following the accident, rescue and treatment efforts for the injured were promptly initiated with active participation and coordination from the District Administration Office Kavrepalanchok, the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Nepal, local government bodies, and healthcare institutions,” the release said.

The release also informed that the injured are receiving treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital. “The Nepal government has instructed the relevant bodies to investigate and identify the cause of this incident,” the statement added. “Additionally, authorities have been directed to provide effective medical care to the injured and essential support to the affected families.”
