Brazil Faces Morocco, Scotland and Haiti Enthusiastic Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026 Group Matches
Brazil’s journey in the 2022 Qatar World Cup was halted at the quarterfinals, where the team was stunned by Croatia. Similarly, four years earlier in Russia, Brazil was also stopped at the round of eight. This time, Brazil aims to correct the mistakes made in previous tournaments.
As part of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Brazil will face Morocco in a group stage match on Sunday at 3:45 AM local time. Star player Neymar might miss the game against Morocco due to injury concerns. In another Group C match, Haiti, returning to the World Cup after 52 years, will compete against Scotland on Sunday morning.
The matches will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, with kickoff scheduled at 3:45 AM Nepal time. Brazil has participated in every World Cup edition and has won 74 out of 114 matches played. However, it has been 24 years since Brazil last lifted the World Cup trophy.
The game between Scotland and Haiti is set to begin at 6:45 AM Nepal time on Sunday. Haiti’s return after more than five decades comes with the ambition to improve their previous performances, especially as the tournament is hosted in their own continent this time. Scotland, appearing for the ninth time in the World Cup, aims to advance to the knockout stage in this edition.
