June 15, Janakpur Dham – The Madhesh Provincial government has approved a 10 percent salary increase for its employees. Presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, Finance Minister Yubaraj Bhattarai announced the salary hike.
Additionally, he stated that a 10 percent performance-based incentive allowance will be provided.
To address public inconvenience caused by delays in government offices, the province plans to provide compensation to affected citizens. Minister Bhattarai revealed that the Madhesh government will introduce the ‘Hello CM App’ and a ‘Hello Chief Minister toll-free number’ to manage such issues efficiently.
Efforts are underway to implement a 100-day employment guarantee program aimed at youth aged 18 to 35, the minister informed.
Furthermore, the Finance Minister reported that necessary budget allocations have been made for provincial police recruitment.
The provincial government has also modified the popular ‘Chief Minister’s Educate Daughter, Save Daughter’ program recently.
