June 15, Biratnagar – The Koshi Province government has allocated a budget of NPR 3.49 billion for the development of the tourism sector in the fiscal year 2083/84. This budget focuses on the development of tourism infrastructure and promotional activities within the province. Under this budget, the province has also planned programs for the Visit Year celebrations to be held over the next two years. Previously, the current fiscal year was declared as the Tourism Year, and now the provincial government has extended this declaration for an additional two years to further boost tourism.
