June 16, Kathmandu – Amrit Lamsal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The position had been vacant since May 28. Lamsal’s appointment was made based on a recommendation from Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle. Currently, Lamsal also serves as the Chairman of Nepal Reinsurance Company and acts as the government representative on the board of directors of Nepal Bank.
