Tip Top New Diamond Youth Sports Wins U-19 Volleyball Title

June 24, Kathmandu – Tip Top New Diamond Youth Sports Club secured the title at the Madan Bhandari Cup U-19 School-Level Bagmati Province Girls Volleyball Competition held on Wednesday. In the final match at Angels Sports Academy in Manmaiju, Tip Top New Diamond defeated New Diamond Academy in straight sets, 25–16, 25–9, 25–10, to become the champions.

The tournament, organized by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy, saw Ganesh Himal securing third place after defeating Saraswati Secondary School, Helambu, 25–18, 25–16, 25–13.

The top four teams were awarded cash prizes of NPR 100,000, 50,000, 30,000, and 15,000 respectively. Nisha Mahar of Tip Top New Diamond Youth Sports was declared the best player and received a cash prize of NPR 10,000. Additionally, Jenisha Vishwakarma from New Diamond Youth Sports was named best spiker, Salina Gurung the best blocker, and Kumar Rai the best coach. Other individual honors included Grishma Gurung as best defender, Namsar Rana as best setter, and Alisha Shrestha as best server. Each category winner received NPR 5,000 in cash awards.

The awards were presented in a ceremony by Dhruv Acharya, chairman of the organizing academy and former vice-chair of the National Sports Council, along with Ram KC, competition coordinator and chairman of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy Bagmati Province. The tournament lasted four days and featured eight teams competing in league and knockout formats.
