June 24, Kathmandu – On Thursday, the price of gold fell by NPR 5,200 per tola. The Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association set the gold price at NPR 278,300 per tola on that day. The previous day, gold traded at NPR 283,500 per tola. Gold prices have been declining for several weeks. Over the past week, the price of gold has dropped by NPR 18,900. Last Thursday, gold was priced at NPR 297,200 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver decreased by NPR 250 per tola today. Whereas silver traded at NPR 4,485 per tola the previous day, today the price stood at NPR 4,235 per tola. Over the past week, silver prices have fallen by NPR 710. Last Thursday, the price of silver was NPR 4,950 per tola.
