June 26, Saptari — Two youths have been arrested with two rounds of ammunition from Balan Bihul Rural Municipality in Saptari. The arrested individuals are 32-year-old Subhash Kumar Pasaman and 22-year-old Dharmendra Singh, both residents of Ward No. 3 of Balan Bihul Rural Municipality.
On Thursday around 4 PM, the suspects were found sitting suspiciously on a bamboo platform (machan) along the Tikuliya-Belhi road stretch in Ward No. 3 of Balan Bihul Rural Municipality. Upon conducting a body search, two 8mm rounds of ammunition were recovered from Pasaman, according to Hemraj Ghimire, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Saptari.
The police have obtained a five-day investigation period from the court in connection with a case related to illegal possession of weapons and are continuing their inquiry.
