Attack on Pakistan Rangers Sindh Camp Kills Three Security Personnel

Three security personnel were killed in an attack on the Pakistan Rangers Sindh camp in Karachi. The military reported that in a retaliatory operation, three attackers were killed and one wounded assailant was taken into custody. The extremist group affiliated with Jamat-ud-Ahrar claimed responsibility for the assault that took place on Saturday night.

The Pakistan Army confirmed the deaths of three security personnel in the attack on Saturday night. During the counter-operation, the military stated that three attackers were neutralized. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), one attacker and one Afghan civilian were apprehended wounded during the operation.

The attack involved explosions and gunfire near the Rangers’ office located in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. Eyewitnesses reported that the incident occurred close to the Rangers’ building in Block 5 of Gulistan-e-Johar.
