June 19, Kathmandu – In the Round of 32 match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Portugal and Croatia played to a goalless draw in the first half. The game, held at Toronto Stadium in Canada, saw neither team managing to score a goal.
The much-anticipated rivalry between Portugal’s renowned player Cristiano Ronaldo and Croatia’s Luka Modrić has drawn significant attention; however, neither was able to make a decisive impact during the opening half. This marks the first direct competition between these two players in a World Cup tournament.
