Two Nepali wrestlers, Nishant Kumar Yadav and Rashmi Thada, are confirmed to participate in the U-17 age group training camp scheduled from July 6 to 17. On 19th Ashad, Kathmandu, the training camp is organized by the Olympic Council of Asia and United World Wrestling. The Nepali duo will be under the guidance of coach Manisha Singh during this camp.
Along with the two athletes, a three-member Nepali wrestling team is set to depart for Guangzhou, China, on Monday to take part in the training camp. The team was formally seen off in a ceremony on Friday by Ramcharitra Mehta, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, and Prakash Kumar Kusari, President of the Nepal Wrestling Association.
