June 21, Kathmandu – Saroj Gahtaraj, 41, from Arjundhara Municipality-8 in Jhapa, who had previously served prison sentences for various crimes, was recently arrested again with brown heroin. A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau busted him and recovered 23.550 grams of brown heroin.
Gahtaraj was apprehended at the same location, Arjundhara-8. He was earlier arrested on April 14, 2014, on charges of rape and served six years in prison before being released. Subsequently, on May 6, 2024, he was arrested with illegal drugs and served a one-year sentence. Now, Gahtaraj has once again been caught with brown heroin.
