Iranian Diplomat Majid Nili Strongly Condemns U.S. Attack

Majid Nili, the Iranian diplomat to Germany, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the silence of European leaders regarding U.S. actions against Iran, issuing a warning about the consequences. He stated that the United States’ attack on the Agh-Tappeh-Khan Bridge along the China-Turkmenistan-Iran railway route has put an important international trade route at risk.

In a statement released on Thursday, Nili criticized some European leaders for remaining silent amid U.S. actions against Iran. He said, “Taking America’s alleged crimes lightly does not guarantee anyone’s security.” The targeted Agh-Tappeh-Khan Bridge is a vital part of the international transportation and trade network.

Nili warned that if opposition and condemnation of the U.S. assault on this transport route are absent, other key routes could easily become targets in the future. European countries also benefit from these routes. He added, “Normalizing such acts of aggression does not provide security for anyone.” Previously, the U.S. had also attacked a railway bridge in the northern Iranian city of Akka.
