June 27, Kathmandu – A boat carrying Indian tourists has capsized near Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. The Indian embassy in Vietnam posted on the social media platform “X” that a boat with Indian tourists on board overturned. The embassy stated that it is gathering details about the incident while local authorities have launched search and rescue operations.
The embassy has not disclosed the exact number of tourists on the boat, according to reports. To provide information and assistance to affected families, control rooms have been established at the Indian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and also in Hanoi.
