The player selection competition for Nepal’s participation in the ISF Football World Cup has commenced at Chyasal. Approximately 300 players from across the country are participating in the selection trials, according to the Nepal School Sports Federation. Players who perform exceptionally will have the opportunity to compete in the World Cup scheduled to be held in China from October 17 to 26. Date: 31 Ashad, Kathmandu.
The player selection trials for the ISF Football World Cup started at Chyasal. Rajkumar Karki, General Secretary of the Nepal School Sports Federation and member of the ISF Executive Committee, stated that nearly 300 players are participating in the trials. The opening of the selection process was conducted by Siddhi Byanjankar, Chief Advisor to the Ministry of Education and Sports, during an event.
The event was attended by Vinod Shrestha, President of the Nepal School Sports Federation, Bhuvanlal Shrestha, Deputy General Secretary of PABSON, and others. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Chief Advisor Byanjankar extended his best wishes to all participating players. Those who excel in the trials will be eligible to participate in the ISF Football World Cup taking place in China from October 17 to 26.
