Malaysian Prime Minister Announces Immediate Expulsion of Israeli Citizens from the Country

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has declared that any Israeli citizen found in the country will be immediately expelled. He stated, “If we find any Israelis, we will promptly deport them because we do not recognize Israel.”

The Immigration Department clarified that no evidence has been found indicating Israeli participation in the Network School program and confirmed that all documents of the individuals involved are valid. In an interview, Prime Minister Ibrahim reiterated, “If we find any Israelis, we will immediately expel them since we do not recognize Israel.”

Reports had surfaced that Israeli citizens participated in the Network School program, which operates in Forest City near the Singapore border. However, Datuk Zakariah Shaban, Director-General of Malaysia’s Immigration Department, stated that no presence of Israeli citizens has been confirmed in the project.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet issued any response to the investigation. Malaysia and Israel do not maintain diplomatic relations.
