The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for the US dollar at NPR 153.76 and the selling rate at NPR 154.36 for Monday. The central bank has made minor adjustments to the exchange rates of various foreign currencies. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at NPR 160 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one European Euro is NPR 175.89 and the selling rate NPR 176.58; the UK Pound Sterling buying rate is NPR 206.88 and selling rate NPR 207.68; and the Swiss Franc buying rate is NPR 190.44 with a selling rate of NPR 191.18.
The Australian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 107.36 and selling rate NPR 107.78; the Canadian dollar buying rate is NPR 109.66 and selling rate NPR 110.09; and the Singapore dollar buying rate is NPR 119.04 and selling rate NPR 119.51.
The Rastra Bank noted that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as needed. Commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
