Police have arrested 38-year-old Krishna Bahadur Limbu from Panchthar, accused of the murder of 51-year-old Rupa Limbu in Aathrai Rural Municipality–6, Tehrathum. Krishna Bahadur Limbu was apprehended while hiding in the Hilihang Rural Municipality area of Panchthar. According to DSP Anish Karn, the police chief of Panchthar, he has been sent to the Tehrathum District Police Office for necessary legal proceedings based on the complaint.
Panchthar, 7th Shrawan — Krishna Bahadur Limbu, 38, from Simkhark, Aathrai Rural Municipality–6, Tehrathum, has been arrested in Panchthar on charges of murdering 51-year-old Rupa Limbu of the same area. Police reported that Limbu fled after attacking Rupa with a kukri on Thursday. DSP Anish Karn stated that the accused was caught while hiding in Sumlibung, ward 5 of Hilihang, Panchthar. He has been handed over to the Tehrathum District Police Office for further action.
