Saurabh Das, spokesperson for the Cockroach Janata Party, stated that the Bihar and Assam governments have guaranteed the withdrawal of all FIRs registered against protesters. He shared this information in a video posted on social media, emphasizing the government’s commitment to release all detained and arrested individuals.
Representatives of the government have assured that notification regarding the guarantee will also be issued by tomorrow from the central government, BJP, and NDA-ruled states. Das said, “Our meeting with government representatives lasted two to three hours. They shared copies of the notifications from the Bihar and Assam governments, which guarantee the withdrawal of all FIRs filed against the protesters.”
“It also mentions that no further action will be taken against them in the future. Additionally, all individuals who are currently in custody or arrested will be released,” he added. According to Saurabh Das, representatives have also reassured that notifications regarding the guarantee from the central government as well as BJP and NDA-ruled states will be issued by tomorrow. “No protester will be left alone. We will all stand together in this struggle,” he affirmed.
