According to the ICC’s most recent update, which includes data up to Monday, Nepal has slipped from 17th to 18th place in the ODI rankings. The team suffered back-to-back defeats to Namibia twice and the Netherlands once during the League 2 series in the Netherlands. Namibia’s rise to 17th place pushed Nepal down to 18th. Following these disappointing results, Nepal’s chances of securing a direct spot in the ODI World Cup qualifiers have significantly decreased.
