Resham Chhantyal to Miss Nepal Volleyball League 2026 Due to Injury and Family Reasons

Volleyball player Resham Chhantyal will not participate in the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) 2026 due to an injury in his right arm and family commitments. Sagarmatha Warriors have signed player Lila Dangi from Aukshan as his replacement on the team. Chhantyal was contracted by Sagarmatha Warriors for NPR 50,000, and the team has wished him a speedy recovery.

Addressing Sagarmatha Warriors, Chhantyal stated, “My right arm injury has not fully healed yet, I have been unable to participate fully in practice, and due to family engagements, I am unable to compete in the tournament.” Sagarmatha Warriors expressed their well wishes for Chhantyal’s swift recovery and their confidence that he will return to play for the team in future competitions.
