
Rekha Poudel, forward of the Nepalese women’s national football team, scored in her very first match for the Cambodian club Phnom Penh Crown. In the match held on Wednesday, Rekha scored within the first ten minutes, giving her team an early lead, and Phnom Penh Crown secured a dominant 5–0 victory.
Expressing her happiness, Rekha said, ‘I am very pleased to have contributed to the team’s win against Boung Kitwir.’ She also mentioned that she will stay focused on her upcoming matches. Having recently signed with the club, Rekha’s debut goal reflects a promising start at Phnom Penh Crown.
As one of the key forwards of the Nepalese women’s team, Rekha Poudel has consistently delivered outstanding performances for the national team over the past few years. With her goal in the Cambodian league debut, she has indicated that she aims to maintain the same form.
