The Third Edition of the Corporate Cricket League to Be Held from September 4 to 7

Veterans Forty Club has announced that the third edition of the Corporate Cricket League will take place from September 4 to 7. The tournament will be hosted at Royal Sports Park in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, featuring 20 teams from various institutional sectors. Over the course of four days, a total of 47 matches will be played, with the winning team receiving a substantial cash prize, organizers have confirmed.

During a press conference held on Tuesday, organizers stated that the event will be conducted at Royal Sports Park, Chunikhel, Budhanilkantha. The participating teams will be divided into four groups. Based on a single round-robin league format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

In addition to the competition, an exhibition match between artists and corporate executives will be held before the final to entertain the audience. The champion and runner-up teams will be awarded cash prizes. Furthermore, individual awards will be presented for the best player, emerging player, best batsman, best fielder, best wicketkeeper, fair play team, and for players hitting the most sixes and fours.

Veterans Forty Club has successfully organized the first two editions of the Corporate Cricket League. According to the organizers, players aged between 25 and 39 years are eligible to participate. The event’s estimated budget is between NPR 6 million and 6.5 million.
