Two Helicopters Fighting Wildfires in Greece Collide Mid-Air, Killing Two Crew Members

Two helicopters engaged in firefighting efforts in Greece collided in mid-air, resulting in the deaths of two crew members. Among the deceased were a helicopter pilot and a communications officer from Greece’s fire control service. It has been confirmed that the deceased pilot was a Danish national.
The second helicopter made an emergency landing. The British pilot and Greek officials on board sustained minor injuries but survived the incident.
