Madan Bhandari Cup Volleyball Tournament Scheduled for October; Winners to Receive NPR 700,000 Prize

The Madan Bhandari Sports Academy is set to organize the Madan Bhandari Cup International Invitational Men’s Volleyball Tournament in Rupandehi from October 12 to 17. Dhruv Acharya, the academy’s president, stated, “We plan to include 8 teams, including international participants.”
The tournament winner will be awarded NPR 700,000, the runner-up will receive NPR 350,000, the third-place team will get NPR 175,000, and a consolation prize of NPR 75,000 will be granted. On July 5 (21st Shrawan), Kathmandu: The Madan Bhandari Cup International Invitational Men’s Volleyball Tournament is scheduled to commence on October 12.
Dhruv Acharya, the academy president, confirmed that foreign teams will participate in the competition. He added, “We have reached out to foreign teams to encourage their participation.” According to the organizers, the winning team will receive NPR 700,000, while the second-place team will get NPR 350,000, the third-place team NPR 175,000, and a consolation prize of NPR 75,000.
In the individual categories, outstanding players will be awarded NPR 8,000 each, and the best player will receive NPR 15,000. The matches will be conducted in accordance with FIVB rules. The tournament will run until October 17.
