21st Shrawan, Kathmandu. A photo exhibition related to sports has been organized at the Nepal Art Council in Babarmahal. The Nepal Olympic Museum presented this exhibition to celebrate its 33rd anniversary. The exhibition was held from Shrawan 19 to 21.
Presented under the title ‘Beyond Medals: Preserving Nepal’s Sports History,’ the exhibition aimed to conserve and promote the history of sports in Nepal.
The exhibition displayed photographs, medals, trophies, sports uniforms, and memorabilia related to Nepali sports and athletes.
The exhibition was organized by Nepal’s only sports museum, which is also recognized as the first and sole Olympic museum in South Asia. The institution has been documenting, preserving, and promoting historical materials related to sports and athletes, including photos, trophies, medals, and jerseys.
This exhibition offered visitors a close look at the rich history of sports in Nepal.
