In Kosovo, opposition MP Time Kadriu threw at least four eggs at Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti during a parliamentary session on Saturday. The incident occurred just before the voting for the selection of the new parliamentary speaker. Kurti had requested additional time for consultations with other parties before the vote.
Political deadlock is escalating in Kosovo, often referred to as Europe’s youngest democracy, which has already held three elections in less than two years.
