
Kathmandu, August 18 – Nepali esports team Hora Esports’ Shital Rai, known as ‘Sleepy,’ secured the title of second best player (MVP) at the PUBG Mobile World Cup. Sleepy delivered an impressive individual performance by achieving a total of 31 wins during the tournament.
Hora Esports finished in eighth place at the World Cup, earning a prize of $127,500 USD. Throughout the competition, Sleepy defeated 31 opponents, including 16 victories in the final stages. His outstanding performance significantly contributed to establishing Hora Esports’ strong presence on the global stage.
In the previous edition of the World Cup, Sleepy ranked as the fourth best player. This marks the second consecutive tournament in which he has secured a place among the top MVPs. The top honor for best player was awarded to Tianba’s Qusej.
