The Houthi group has carried out a drone attack on the Saudi state-owned company Saudi Aramco’s oil refinery located in Jazan. The Saba news agency, controlled by the Houthis, confirmed the attack by citing a military source. The military source told the news agency, “The Yemeni armed forces launched an attack on Aramco’s oil refinery in Jazan using multiple drones.” Kathmandu, 19 August. According to the source, the attack was a response to the airspace violations occurring in the Saada and Hajjah governorates of Yemen. The rebels stated, “This attack was carried out in retaliation against the airspace violations in the Yemeni governorates of Saada and Hajjah.”
