September 19, Kathmandu – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the suspension of all trade and financial transactions with Iran until further notice. According to multiple news agencies, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs cited escalating regional tensions that pose a significant threat to peace and security as the reason for this decision.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defense accused Iran of launching two ballistic missiles toward the UAE. However, Ismail Bakai, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, rejected these claims. According to the UAE, one of the missiles landed outside its territorial waters, while the other entered UAE waters and was intercepted and destroyed.
Following the outbreak of conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, the UAE has become one of the countries most affected by Iranian aggression.
