
September 6, Kathmandu – A Russian drone attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine has resulted in the deaths of 15 civilians. The strike targeted a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih and caused significant damage. According to local officials, more than 130 people were injured in the attack, including 23 children. There are concerns that some individuals remain trapped beneath the rubble.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the aerial assault on his hometown occurred in two waves during the afternoon. He condemned the attack as extremely reprehensible and horrific, further alleging that the second drone strike targeted rescuers who were engaged in relief efforts following the initial bombing.
