The trophy for the Nepal Volleyball League, the country’s inaugural men’s volleyball franchise tournament, was unveiled by Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan at the Patan Durbar Square. The trophy has also been exhibited at Kathmandu’s Basantapur Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Organized by Kedia Group, the first edition of the NVL will run from Bhadra 19 to 27. The competition features six teams: Sagarmatha Smashers, Madhesh Warriors, Kathmandu Reds, Annapurna Spiker Kings, Karnali Shivraj, and Khaptad Falcons from Sudurpashchim Province.
