
Nepal will compete against the Hobart Hurricanes Academy today at 3:15 PM during the ongoing Top End T20 series in Australia’s Northern Territory. Nepal has already suffered defeats in their previous two matches against NT Strike and Bangladesh’s High Performance squad. Similarly, Hobart has also lost both of their opening games against Victoria and the Bangladesh team.
The match between Nepal and Hobart is scheduled to start at 3:15 PM Nepal time. Nepal endured losses in both prior matches, falling to NT Strike on Friday and to Bangladesh’s High Performance team on Saturday. Hobart, too, has yet to secure a win, having been defeated by Victoria in their first game and by Bangladesh’s side in the second.
The Hobart lineup features former Australian player Billy Stanlake along with returning athletes from the previous season including Tim Ward, Bradley Hope, Gabe Bell, Nivethan Radhakrishnan, Jack Curtain, Marcus Beinke, and Rafe Macmillan. Stanlake, Ward, Beinke, Jake Doran, and Macmillan have also played in the Big Bash League. In the last season, Hobart won only two of their six matches, finishing ninth out of ten teams.
Nepal’s squad consists of Anil Sah (captain), Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Tritraj Das, Mayan Yadav, Pawan Sarraf, Deepak Dumre, Kushal Malla, Rashid Khan, Narayan Joshi, Aakash Chand, Shahab Alam, Bipin Khatri, Yubaraj Khatri, and Rijan Dhakal. Hobart’s team includes KC Barton, Marcus Beinke, Gabe Bell, Lachlan Clark, Jack Doran, Jack Curtain, Brad Hope, Rafe Macmillan, Kellen Malade, Nivethan Radhakrishnan, Nitesh Samuel, Billy Stanlake, Tim Ward, and Tig Willai.
