James Kalkin Shrestha Named Best Player at Thunderbolts Cup Swimming Competition

The two-day Thunderbolts Cup swimming competition, organized by James School Dhapakhel, has concluded. The event featured participation from 345 athletes representing 81 schools, competing across 79 different events within 10 age categories. In the Under-18 category, James School’s Kalkin Shrestha was declared the best male player, while Royal Prajapati from The British School was named the best female player.

In the Under-14 division, James School’s Mayon Shrestha delivered an outstanding performance among males, and Devansi Joshi from St. Mary’s Secondary School stood out among females. For the Under-12 category, Sahas Shakya of Nisarga Vatika School was selected as the best male player, with Ivana Shrestha from Prime International IB School recognized as the top female athlete. In the Under-10 age group, Chirag Maharjan from James School and Betty Shrestha from Euro School were awarded the titles for best players.

Additionally, in the Under-8 male category, both Kevat Singh and Kautik Sharma from Brihaspati Vidya Sadan were jointly declared best players. The best female player in the same category was Bhidi Goyal of Uniglobe Secondary School.
