August 24, Kathmandu – India’s Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced plans to hold another street protest. Following months of agitation after the leak of the NEET question paper, which compelled the then Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign, the CJP is preparing to take to the streets again on September 5.
The CJP has declared it will organize a peaceful youth march from India Gate to the Delhi Police Headquarters on September 5. Through the social media platform X, the CJP accused the Narendra Modi government of failing to withdraw police cases filed against protesters during the student movement. Along with the resignation of former Education Minister Pradhan, the government had also agreed to retract the FIRs registered against the students.
