Nepali female footballer Sima Rani Ghale has joined Croatia’s premier women’s league club ŽNK Split. Sima will now compete in Croatia’s A Division, the Majenta League. With this contract, she becomes the first Nepali footballer to play in Croatia’s top women’s league. (September 25, Kathmandu)

Starting her football journey at FC Buddha, she has also delivered outstanding performances for Sankata FC in Nepal. Her progression from domestic football to a top division club in Europe marks a significant achievement for Nepali women’s football. Through this contract, Sima has become the first Nepali female footballer to compete in Croatia’s premier women’s league.
