
Nepal is set to take part in the Pickleball World Cup for the first time. The Nepalese team is preparing to depart for Da Nang, Vietnam, on Thursday. The tournament will be held from August 30 to September 6.
In the senior category, the competitors representing Nepal include Harsha Sagar Tuladhar, Manikratna Shakya, Dilbhushan Pathak, Fatte Bahadur Khadka, Sharmila KC, and Pratima Pradhan. For the open category, the team members are Jackson Subedi, Sandesh Shrestha, Umid Sherpa, Ugen Sherpa, Dawa Sherpa, Radheshyam Machamsi, Mahesh Sharma, Sarusa Magar, Dr. Diksha Rana, Sanjil Kansakar, and Kiran Khanal.
The team is managed and coached by Saurabh Bhandari. Ramcharitra Mehta, Secretary of the National Sports Council, bade farewell to the team at an event on Tuesday, wishing them success in the competition.
