International Jhapa Society Decides to Donate Rs 1.5 Million for Flood Victims

September 29, Jhapa – The International Jhapa Society has resolved to contribute Rs 1.5 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support victims of the Bhote Koshi flood for relief and rehabilitation efforts. The decision was made during a virtual meeting chaired by the society’s president, Mahendra Prasad Chamlagain, on Saturday, according to General Secretary Chiran Khawas. The society expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in landslides and reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support rescue, relief, and rehabilitation activities for affected individuals. The society’s national committees are active in more than 40 countries worldwide.
