He has urged everyone through social media to include Nepalese facing hardships in their prayers and expressed his commitment to giving his 100 percent on the field. Following the devastating flood in Vote Koshi, Rasuwa, Sandeep has pledged to donate one month’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund and provide additional financial support during the Premier Cup.
On 15 Bhadra, Kathmandu – The captain of the Nepal national team, Sandeep Lamichhane, who began the ACC Premier Cup with an impressive victory, announced that his win is dedicated to those affected by floods across the country. After Nepal’s strong performance in the opening match, he appealed on social media for all Nepalis to keep the affected in their prayers.
“The competition got off to an excellent start. This win is for all the citizens of my beautiful country Nepal who are currently facing difficult circumstances. Please continue to pray for Nepal and Nepalis,” he said. “We will give our best on the field so that we may bring some joy, encouragement, and smiles to the faces of our people, even if only a little. Jai Nepal!”
Following the destructive flood in the Vote Koshi area of Rasuwa, Sandeep had already announced his intention to contribute one month’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Furthermore, he has committed to providing additional financial assistance for every boundary and wicket Nepal achieves during the Premier Cup.
